New qualified Masters
Thursday, 05 July 2012 07:01

Well done to all the masters who took their qualification last night Wednesday 04th July.

A special mention to the new Masters qualifying for the first time.

These are Julie Phillips, Mandy Lane and Steve Baker (who passed their Masters Surf Competition award).

Mandy Lane, Sue Blake, Bernadette Phipps and Steve Baker (who passed their Racing Ski Competence award).

The above members have worked extremely hard over the past months to gain this recognition and I and Rhoose lifeguards are very grateful for their perseverance and determination to ensure Rhoose Lifeguards continue to provide skilled and competent members to ensure our children are able to train in a safe and secure environment.

We are very proud of you all and welcome to the "Rhoose Masters Team".

A big thanks to all the Coaches, club members, family and friends who have supported the above.

Our thanks also to the Welsh Trainers and Assessers that are continually giving up their time and evenings to ensure clubs reach these high standards.

Club training weekend a huge success
Sunday, 03 June 2012 18:04

Once again the club training weekend this year held at Port Eynon in the Gower was a great success.

The club all camped with their families for Friday, Sat and Sunday

Various games were played around the campsite and training on the beach and in the sea

The club would like to thank all coaches and parents for a fantastic weekend.

Message from Liz

Thank you to all those who joined us on the weekend at the Gower, we all had a fantastic time, and as usual, everyone was well behaved, the owner of the camp site was very impressed with our group and would welcome us back again, so we will be planning an end of season weekend when all competitions have finished in Sept, I will let you know when the date has been arranged.
